Today we started by walking to Hemingway's apartment in Paris, and then had breakfast in Place Contrascape, at the cafe Hemingway may have had breakfast in all those many years ago. It was really cool to think we were walking in Hemingway's footsteps.
Then we went off toward the Pantheon, and sat on the church steps where Owen Wilson was picked up in Midnight in Paris. After a quick tour of the Pantheon, we were off to the Rodin Museum, where we saw all of the famous sculptures he created.
From there, lunch, and then the Eiffel Tower. We of course walked up. Only 700 steps to the second level. The views were great and we waited less than a half hour to start our climb up.
The final part of the day was the Bike Tour. It was pretty crazy riding through the streets of Paris. We basically road from the Eiffel Tower to Notre Dame and back, passing by many sights along the way. We then had a boat cruise along the Seine before we road back to the bike shop.
The ride back was somewhat eventful because the Euro Cup is going on right now and the semi final was today (July 6, 2016). The Europeans love their soccer, so there were a lot of fans that we had to ride through and around on our way back. It was a little crazy, but not to bad, and we got back to our hotel via metro without a hitch.
